.
Founding member and first president of the St. Stanislaus College Alumni Association Toronto.Multi year involvement in Last Lap Lime

I am a Golden Grove, East Coast Demerara, country boy. I arrived at SAINTS in September 1954 and was quickly nicknamed "Country" as I did not (and still don't) speak the Queen’s English (smile).

Favourite Memories of Saints
Being "passed over" for promotion from Form 3B to 3A when I came 3rd in term examinations (#4 was promoted). Fr. Scannell told my Mother that he believed it was "a flash in the pan". Boy, was I p----d! From then on I never took studying seriously and had a fabulous time at SAINTS.

Why the Alumni Association is important to me
Why I Joined SAINTS Executive?
We are passionately commited to our mission:"MAKING SAINTS #1"
We work relentlessly raising the cold, hard cash that SAINTS needs on an ongoing basis.

Why I help SAINTS?
The values SAINTS instilled in me as a boy, which have stayed with me throughout my life.....the main one being "one should never forget the less fortunate".

My Method
I thrive on conflict, as it challenges me and forces me to make the extra effort in understanding the other person's point of view in arriving at a viable solution.I work on the basis that,"It is in giving that we receive".
