Dr. David Singh

Alumnus Dr. David Singh has been the Executive Director, Guyana Field Division, of Conservation International since 2007.‘ Before taking up his present position he was the Director General of the Iwokrama International Centre for Rainforest Conservation and Development (IICRCD) which he joined as an advisor in 2003 before taking over the general directorship in the following year. He had previously had ten years experience working in environmental management and pollution monitoring in Guyana. David has a PhD in Chemistry from Temple University , Philadelphia, USA and a BSc in Applied Chemistry from the University of Guyana . He has also taught Chemistry in the USA and Guyana.
